Strength Social Link (Kou Ichijou and Daisuke Nagase)
There are 2 types, Basketball (Kou) and Soccer (Nagase)
Why it happens : For basketball, Kou is more worried about being abandoned by his adopted family. As you progress on, he slowly learns that his family still wants him as a family member. For soccer, Daisuke is not really serious into girls and soccer. As you slowly level this one, members will start questioning Daisuke's commitment and eventually after the date fiasco plan by Kou, he decided not to run away from this problem anymore.
How to level it : You can find them outside your classroom. Only available during schooldays.
Available days : Even non-rainy schooldays.
Need a matching Persona : Yes.
Comments : Basketball will be easier than Soccer, so join that first before going for Soccer on your 2nd playthrough. You will also unlock Moon S.Link when this link is at rank 4.
Hanged Man Social Link (Naoki Konishi)
Why it happens : After the death of Saki-senpai, her younger brother, Naoki, is often being pitied by many people. However at the same time, most of them started to talk their backs on Naoki. He is still struggling to cope with the death of his elder sister and allows people to take pity on him. As you progress on, he will begin to shine on and tell the people that he is okay and doesn't need to get pitied upon.
How to level it : Your Understanding must be at rank 3. Speak to him 3 times to trigger the link. After the 3rd time it should do the trick. He will be found outside Konishi Liquor Store on schooldays only.
Available days : Monday to Thursday (non-rain, schooldays only)
Need a matching Persona : Yes.
Comments : This is the one that I normally ignore, though I did max it out once. Its a very touching Social Link to do though.
Death Social Link (Hisano Kuroda)
Why it happens : Somehow the MC resembles of Hisano's husband who died recently. After his death, Hisano thinks that he goes to heaven and she goes to hell, thus decipting herself as Death. But as you slowly talk with her, she slowly learns that calling herself Death will only bring more sorrow to her, and in the end, agrees to let it go.
How to level it : Your Devil Social Link must be 4. Then talk to Yukiko about the old woman. She is normally at the riverside during holidays.
Available days : Sundays or whenever you have school holidays (NOT school break!) (non-rainy)
Need a matching Persona : No.
Comments : As you can only meet her on holidays, this is quite tight to level that link. However, it will level up no matter the circumstances.
Temperance Social Link (Eri Minami)
Why it happens : Eri has recently married to a divorced man and already having problems with her stepson. Their relationship are always on a strange note. As you move on, its still like that but in the end, they agree to move on and remake a family.
How to level it : Take the caretaker job on non-rainy Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. You need to do it twice to start this link.
Available days : Monday, Friday and Saturday (not raining)
Need a matching Persona : Vital.
Comments : This will be one of the most annoying S.Link to level. Just take your time, choose the right answers, and you'll be on track.
Devil Social Link (Sayoko Uehara)
Why it happens : This seems to be a little off-track at the start, she only takes interest in the MC. As you move on, she becomes obsessed with her work as a nurse and eventually it became too much for her. In the end, she realizes that her true purpose of working as a nurse is because she wanted to help people. She decided to quit her nurse job and go for the one she had once given up.
How to level it : Your Diligence must be at rank 3. At night you can go for the janitor job on Wed, Thurs and Fridays.
Available days : Wednesday to Friday (Available on rainy days)
Need a matching Persona : Vital.
Comments : When this link reaches 4, you'll unlock Death S. Link. Its also abit hard to level this one up.
Tower Social Link (Shu Nakajima)
Why it happens : At first Shu is a pretty smart boy, but as you move on, he start to fear of another student who happens to be a transfer student. At the same time he is under pressure to always be the number one, which is what his mother desires. In the end, he reveals that his mother will always love him despite the major setback and they can always start over.
How to level it : You need to MAX out your Understanding. At night, go out on even days to take up the tutor job.
Available days : Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (Weather is not a factor)
Need a matching Persona : Vital.
Comments : Like Devil, this one is also quite tough to level. Not only that, if this is your first playthrough it will be a little tight to max it out.
Moon Social Link (Ai Ebihara)
Why it happens : She is always obsessive with materials when it comes to beauty. Mess with her and you'll be in deep trouble. As you progress on, you have 2 options. Either you can be immediate lovers, or you don't want but still hang out with her. If you choose to be immediate lovers, she'll break up with you but still be friends. If you choose not to, she'll start to confess her true love to you. Whatever the choices, she'll give up being too materialistic to her beauty.
How to level it : Your Strength Social Link must be at rank 4. At the same time, you need to have Courage rank 3 to ask her out. After skipping class with her, the link starts. You still have time for others after school though. From there on, she will be near the lockers.
Available days : Wednesday to Friday (not raining, schooldays only)
Need a matching Persona : Yes.
Comments : Be really careful in selecting choices, this is one of 2 Social Links that can be reversed.
Star Social Link (Teddie)
Why it happens : Teddie still can't figure out what he is truly made of. As you progress on, he is still muffled in finding out of what he is. In the end, if you choose the correct answers in the path you're choosing, he will slowly come to know that he is only a Shadow, only that he is now reborned after obtaining his Persona.
How to level it : Automatic.
Need a matching Persona : No.
Comments : He's so cute!
Sun Social Link (Ayane Matsunaga or Yumi Ozawa)
There are 2 options, Drama club (Yumi) or Music club (Ayane)
Why it happens : For Drama club, Yumi loves to act. She is often dubbed as the Queen of Drama. But as you slowly get to know her more, she is still struggling with family issues, especially with her father. In the end, she accepts her father in the family even though she has sharp disagreements. For Music club, Ayane often sticks out whenever she plays the trombone. What's worse, she is selected to do the trombone solo. She is afraid to do it, but with your help, she overcome the fear and started to like it.
How to level it : Either club members can be found near the 2F main building staircase.
Available : Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Weather not a factor)
Need a matching Persona : Yes.
Comments : I highly suggest going for Music club for first playthroughs, its a really good method to increase some of your parameters indirectly. In addition, you can do this on rainy days as well, so make full use of that.
Judgement Social Link (The Truth Seekers)
WARNING! SPOILERS AHOY!
Why it happens : After learning that Namatame is not the killer, the team decides to ponder back in the past and find out about the true killer. Once the killer was identified, they cornered him and he was ultimately defeated.
How to level it : Automatic. However, you must make the right choices in the crucial 3/12 and 5/12.
Need a matching Persona : No.
